Cory Yee
Cory Yee is a Chinese American voice actor, most well known for Gorou in Genshin Impact, Akito in Ghostwire: Tokyo, Sigma and Bram Stoker in Bungo Stray Dogs, and The Beholder in the award winning To Your Eternity. He also has provided the English voices of many live action dubs, including Baek Yi-Jin in the Netflix hit Twenty Five Twenty One among many others. Growing up in Southern California, Cory may have always been destined to be a part of the entertainment industry. Those dreams began to manifest in high school, where he discovered theater, musicals, improv and vocal ensemble. But because of his ethnicity, Cory never felt like becoming a professional actor was ever realistic. So instead, right out of high school, Cory went to film school, with the intention of becoming a live action filmmaker behind the camera.
After about a decade of doing every job in production, he realized he wasn’t quite as fulfilled as he wanted to be. During his years of production, Cory truly understood that being seen wasn’t as important as being heard, both literally and metaphorically, but he still wanted to act.
Thinking back to all of his experiences with media, like watching Animaniacs and Ninja Turtles as a child, or discovering the incredible characters and voices of Blizzard Entertainment, Cory decided to pursue voice acting as a profession. Through hard work, dedication, and meeting an incredible and supportive community, Cory finally was able to audition and earn his place as a professional voice actor. Now he always looks forward to the next character he can bring to life and is forever grateful for every opportunity given to him.
Cory will be present at AnimeCon Friday through Sunday, and can usually be found at the Signing Area. If the special guests happen to be taking a break the moment you pass by their table, you can always come back later.
Prices and terms related to autographs and photos vary per special guest.
